Group Base Employability Skills Program (GBES)
Work Experience
YouthWORKS! Skills Link Program is a broad based project that is not specific to any industry and will be focused on the individuals' action plan and goals. GBES will focus on helping youth facing barriers with employment to develop a broad range of skills, knowledge and work experience that they will need to participate and succeed in the job market. Our program would serve 10 participants for each intake. The participants would complete 30 hours of training per week from 8:30 - 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. The training includes 6 weeks of group based employability skill training in the classroom, 6 weeks of work experience, which will include workplace coaching and support to maximize the benefit to be gained by the participant.
