Group Rate: $75/Hour
- Group bookings are available for up to 15 participants at a rate of $75/hour.
- Extra climbers are $6 each; maximum wall occupancy of 20
- Equipment, instruction and 1-2 Belayer/Instructors included in booking fee
- Belay instruction is available at no extra cost to group instructors and responsible climbers (12 years+)
Belay Test
If you would like to belay on our wall, you will need to pass a test that involves some simple but important skills. These will include;
- Properly securing a harness
- Tie in is secure with figure 8 knot
- Correct use of calls and safety checks
- Belay technique is correct
- Can catch a planned fall
- Can catch an unexpected fall
- Lowered safely using correct technique
Passing of the test and obtaining your belay card is a $5 fee. It can be also be free of charge with an minimum 8 week volunteer committment.
