The purpose of the Recognition on Ice Program is to acknowledge Medicine Hat and area businesses that employ youth (ages 14 - 24) and to formally recognize the achievements and strengths of their employee.

The following examples could be used as guidelines:

• The employee demonstrates dedication in achieving the mission of the business.
• The employee performs assigned tasks in an exemplary fashion and inspires other employees to improve.
• The employee contributes ideas/suggestions that have resulted in improved service, increased value or increased efficiency and effectiveness.

The business owner/operator/supervisor and the employee will be invited to a Medicine Hat Tiger's home game and will be formally introduced and recognized during an intermission. Medicine Hat Tigers Hockey Club publishes the employer and the employee names and picture on their website, www.tigershockey.com.
